The house built by Martin Koon and Eve Feagle Koon which they lived in 1839 in Newberry County, SC. It was owned by a decsendant of the Boozer family of Newberry County,SC in 1980. This is a clapboard plantation home much like those found all over the South. Margaret Mitchell wrote that this was more of what "Tara" would have looked like in "Gone with the Wind" than what actually showed up in the movie!
