This is a picture the headstone of my grandfather, Alpheus Cary Koon, MD. He is interred at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lakeland, Florida. Jennie Carlye Powers Koon, his widow, purchased the "Koon Family" resting place at the time of his death in 1953. Oak Hill is an historic cemetery.
