This is a picture of Grove High School in Paris/Henry/TN. My grandmother, Jennie Carlyle Powers Koon, who died at 102, just shy of her 103rd birthday attended there. She remained "sharp as a tack" until her depature of this life. Her younger sister, Anne Powers Dobbs, also attended there. They attended in the 19-teens. Jennie Carlyle Powers Koon married my grandfather, Alpheus Cary Koon, MD on November 20, 1917. Anne Powers Dobbs married into the Coca-Cola family. Both are descendants of Thomas Tugwell as mentioned on this site.
