Another rare find! This is a picture of my uncles, father and first cousin once removed. This picture was taken in Tampa, Florida, circa 1930. It is said to be the first plane to be refueled in flight (meaning it had to stop during a flight to be refueled). L-R: Albert Dobbs (son of Anne Powers Dobbs (1904-1998)and Jame Protheus Dobbs (died 1968); they were members of the the Coca-Cola Family; Alpheus Cary Koon, Jr. (1918-1969), holding Wiley Emmett Koon, MD. (1928 - present), and Louis Lee Koon, CPA (1922-1997). My family was, is and will always be the best! I was reared along the lines of what Jaqueline Bouvier Kennedy quoted in "A Tour of the White House whith Mrs. John F. Kennedy, "...as long as it's the best." My father once explained two things to me, Wiley Emmett Koon, Jr., - One - ("ANYBODY can be a SLOB!") and Two - ("There IS a BIG difference between an excuse and a reason"). He, as always is right! Daddy, I love you!
