This is the death certificate of Wiley Harrison Koon, my great grandfather. As usual there are spelling errors, but this one seems to be correct in other aspects except the birthdate in in contrast to the 1860 census which indicates that he might have been born in 1858, and other information indicates that he was born in 1856. He is the son of my 2nd great grandmother, Lavinia Amanda Taylor Koon (1825-1906) and Absalom Koon (1822-1865). Lavainia Amanda Taylor Koon was the child of William W. Taylor and Elizabeth Dominick of Newberry, SC. Elizabeth Dominick is the daughter of Henry Dominick, Sr. the Revolutinary hero in this line of my family!
