This is a picture of my father, Wiley Emmett Koon, MD (1928-present) making phone calls before going to work circa 1966-68. I can tell the date from the high chair in the background and when he lived with us. My father is a man rarely found! He is a marvel and a wonder! He raised four very successful children, almost singehandedly, and became and is one of the best physicians in the nation! He has had many ups and downs during his life from which most may be able to learn, and has come out being not only a model father who taught his children the meanings of honesty, responsiblity and valor, but also on how to live life with happiness! There is and never will be a father or man who looks like him, acts like him, talks like him, or does things in the unique ways he does, like him. He is a beacon of what all humans should strive to be! He is a very happy man, and I love my father with all of my heart, prayers and being. Daddy, I am PROUD not only to be your son, but also to carry your name! With much love, "Little Wiley"
