This is a copy of my 5th great grandfather's, George Adam Kuhn (Koon), born 1744 in Germany and d. circa 1815-1821. His son Martin, must have pre-deceased him as he gives a vast amount of his belongings to Martin Koon, Jr. (1799-), my third great grandfather and his two brothers, Emmanuel and Henry. He only leave, out of nine children, estate items to his son, David. This is curious. By the way, Rosana Barbara Long was NOT the mother of his children, and we don't know who the mother was. You can see under the pics and reports of this web site, the house that his grandson, Martin Koon, Jr., my third great grandfather and father of Absalom Koon (1822-1865) built and lived in Newberry, SC. He died in Edgefield Co., SC and, we don't know why, but George Adam was living with Martin, Jr. at the time of his death. Another mistery to get! What fun! Martin Koon, Jr. married Eve Margaret Feagle, daughter of Laurence Feagle, and Rachael Quattlebaum.
