I am researching the KOPP Family Tree. George Kopp married Mary Miles in Harrison County, Indiana
in the late 1870's. They had five children named Shelby, Emma, Clarence, Roy, Orvil and Ezra. Christian Kopp may have been
the father of George. The Family farm was south of Corydon, Indiana.
Albert Stover married Mary Pitman in Harrison County,
Indiana in the late 1870's. They had three children named Roy,
Jacie and Guy. The Family farm was south of Corydon, Indiana.
The Kopp Family name is reported to have left Europe via Triest and came to the United States via New Orleans up the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers. The origin of the Miles name is
unknown.
The Stover name came to Indiana from Virgina via Missouri.
The Pitman name came from the Ohio River boating family.
