At this time, this family tree/history begins with Hans Graff and Bertha Meyer. Both Hans and Bertha (daughter of Ole Leasehauen) were born in Norway (Hedmark, near Elverum), and with an informal search, we have been unable to locate information about their parents and other relatives in Norway. Hans died in Norway. Bertha adopted several surnames, as listed above, during her time in America.

Mina's married name was Jacobson (Bernt Jacobson, she lived in South Dakota, and we know she had children, one of whom was Stella, I think. Mina may have used one of four surnames.
