| I am researching the descendants of Peter Korn and Charlotta Elisabetha Barth, married in 1833 in Erlenbach, Pfalz, Bavaria. I am a direct descendant of their oldest son, Peter, who emigrated to the United States in 1852 and settled in Buffalo, NY. Peter was born May 20,1834 in Erlenbach and coincidentally shares the same birthday with myself. He worked as a blacksmith and owned a shop specializing in the making of carriages. The shop was known as Urschel and Korn's and was located on Niagara Street along the Niagara River. |
