My maternal grandparents. Stephen Barnes (1886-1943) and Elmina Board (1893-1986)
Stephen and Elmina were from Caldwell Co, KY. Elmina is a descendant of the famous Cornelius BOARD who was sent from Sussez England by Alexander Lord Sterling and discovered the first iron ore in this country. She also descends from the famous SCHUYLER family of New York. Elmina was the daughter of Benjamin Morrison BOARD and Dora Elizabeth NUCKOLS.
