B.1805 Tenn, died Aug 2, 1878, Information on his parents and grandparents. wife-Mary Jane Grantham B.1838, La. parents Nathan Grantham, Sarah? John Hopkins, b. Ala, married, Eliza Else, B. Ala or Ga. Daughter, Marinda Hopkins B.4-15-1856, Alabama died-1-14-1907, Dallas County, Texas (Anniston), part Choctaw married: John Anderson Stricklin 12-27-1874,Calhoun County,Ala. B. 6-29-1874, Tallehega County, Alabama, died-7-22-1927, Information on their parents and grandparents. Also my fathers, parents were: James Monroe Rosson and Mattie Elizabeth Hill, Danville, Texas, James was b. June 11, 1841 in Nashville, Tenn, and Mattie was born April 26, 1859, in Rusk County, Texas, His father was William Henry Harrison Rosson, and he was called Squire Rosson, he m. Mary Elizabeth Scott, Oct. 18, 1839, in Tenn,she was the daughter of James Scott and Mary Patton. |
