| Welcome to the Krauss-Perkins Family Home Page Families being researched in Kentucky include: PERKINS (Wayne and Whitley Co.) THOMPSON (Logan Co.) BALL, DECKER, SLOAN (McCreary Co. and others in that area) PATE, BOARD, SKILLMAN, MORTON (Breckinridge, Hancock Co.) KRAUSS ancestors of this line came from Gross-Schenck in Transylvania (now Romania, then Austria-Hungary) about 1890. The LEONBACHERS came from Vienna. Both settled in Cleveland & Erie. Decsendants include BAKER in Texas, KRAUSS in Tenn. and STEINROCK in Louisville, Ky. We're on Shelter Island, NY (pop.2625) far eastern Long Island. You may arrive by ferry or by boat! Thanks to all our 'cousins' who have helped our research. Always looking for more! |
