3. William A Bennett was born in S,S. He came to Loundes Co Ga a young man and there he met and married Elizabeth Strickland. They lived in Loundes Co Ga and Berrien. They had 15 Children.
4. Larry was ordained a Deacon at Rose of Sharon Baptist Church, Sigsbee Ga on April 28 1974. Larry also served in the U.S. Army on August 4 1964 until Aug 4 1966, serving in the Viet Nam war from Aug 1965 to Aug 1966.

7. He was a Confederate Soldier Enlisting from March 1 1862 to Oct 7 1864, Nathan was also a Farmer of Brooks County Ga.He lost a Leg in the battle of the Wilderness near Darby Town VA. He was in the hospital at the close of the war and was pensioned in 1890 and died in Colquitt Co Ga. and is buried at Methodist Old Camp Ground Cemetary.

13. Sgt. Harry Wayne Strickland was serving with the U.S.Marine Corps at NCAS Cherry Point N.C. He joined the Marines on Sept 7 1976. Harry received the following training from Memphis Tenn. Basic Electricity and Electronics,Aviation Technician School and Aviation Intermediate Course. The following training was received at Cherry Point N.C. AV8 A/C Harrier Communication and Navigation Technician Course AV8B Harrier II Comm.Nav.Technician Course.
14. Lou Ellen was born on Father's Day.
15. Mr Freeman legally adopted April Lena.
16. LeRoy served in the U.S Air Force, entering in January 13 1956 and was discharged on Jan 12 1960. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Doerun Ga. F & A.M#151.
17. Patsy & Ronald divorced in 1972.
18. Peggy & Bill live in Fort Walton Beach Florida,Okaloosa Co. Fla. Bill is a Major in the U.S. Air Force.

20. Ali is the Grand-daughter of James and Pheobe J Strickland. Daughter to John G Strickland. 1900 United States Federal Census.

22. E.J.Strickland was raised by an Uncle after the death of his mother. They lived near Pavo Ga. He now makes his home in California and is a Barber by trade.
23. Earl served as Decon in Funston Baptist Church from Oct 2 1966 until his death in 1974. Earl was a farmer,Electrician, grocer and worked for a time with Colquitt County Schools Maintenance Department.
24. Elbert Strickland and Suber Scott divorced about 1913. Married Susie about 1925.
25. Elias was a Confederate soldier, serving in Co. D.29th Regiment Ga.Vol.Inf, this company being made up of men from Berrien. Clinch and Lowndes Co Ga. Elias enlisted Oct 1 1861. On extra Duty as teamster Sept. 1862. No later record. Pension records show tha he contracted phumonia in March while with General Hood in Tennessee. Elias died at Home.
26. Gloria & Harry eloped and were married in Conyers Ga. Gloria and Harry divorced in 1985
27. Jack and Lena Lived in Colquitt Co. Ga. He was Justice of the Peace,Distric No,799. Comissioned in 1916 and for a time was a member of the Moultrie Ga Police Department. He was elected to the office of Ordinary of Colquitt County from 1941 to 1948.
28. Both Lottie and Cullen were deaf. When Lottie was 2 yrs old she had infantile Paralyis and it left her deaf. When cullen was very young he had whooping cough, which left him deaf. All five of their children can hear and are above average. Lottie & cullen were wonderful parents.
29. Aunt Margie adopted Shane,Uncle Gene's son.
30. Regina was born on her Grandfather earl's Birthday
