1. ANDREAS GEORG¹ KRELLE was born Abt. 1823 in Prussia, and died 1895 in Newberry County, SC. He married (1) LOUISE HENSCHKE. She was born 1828. He married (2) RACHEL TAYLOR Abt. 1871, daughter of DAVID TAYLOR and FRANCES DOMINICK. She was born 1835, and died 1890 in Newberry County, SC.

Per 1880 Census, A. G. Krelle was 56 years of age. Grave marker indicates 1823 as date of birth. He spoke almost no English.

He married Rachel Taylor, a War widow, and aquired a fair amount of land in the process.

His grave at the Zion Church is on the edge of the cemetery, next to the woods behind the church. Family legend has it that this was done so that he wouldn't have to be close to too many people for eternity.

On the passenger list for the ship W F Storer, arriving New York City on 16 Dec 1868 from Liverpool, he is listed as "Andrew Krell, 43, male, mason".

Notes for Charles Frederick Krelle:
In both 1889 and 1890 Omaha Directories, Charles F. is shown to be a tinsmith, in the employ of Balthasar Gallatin, tinner, at 1114 N. 20th Street. He also shows addresses in Omaha of 321 S. 12th and 1813 Center in 1889, and 1809 Center in 1890. In the 1889 Directory, a Peter Kunold shows up in the employ of C. F. Krelle, tinner, boarding at 1433 S 16th.

Also in the 1890 Directory, an Otto Amenhauser appears in the employ of an A. F. Krelle, tinner. Otto is indicated as boarding at Elkhorn Valley house.

Also in the 1890 Directory, a Daniel Connell is a helper in the employ of Caffrey & Krelle, and a Phillip Salmon is a laborer in the employ of Coffrey & Krelle, supposedly a firm now owned by Charles and a Mister Caffrey/Coffrey.

Frederick H. appears in the 1889 Omaha Directory in the employ of D. Fitzpatrick, as a gasfitter, at rear 1813 Center, Omaha. In the 1890 Drectory he is listed as "practical plumber, steam and gas fitter", at 317 - 319 S. 12th, in addition to 1813 Center.
