* The Kriegers of New York*

Updated June 22, 2006

I am researching all the lines that come from my family. The Krieger side begins with my grandfather Julius C Krieger of Schenectady, New York. The other major line are the Montgomery's of Ft. Edward, New York.

All of the families involved eventually found their way to the Schenectady area. The Montgomery line goes way back to the 1600's in England via the Arnold branch. I would be happy to communicate with anyone who might be related. The Krieger side did not arrive here until the 1890s. Before that time there is nothing other than that they were born in Germany.
