The Reymore- Remore- Rima Family is truely all the same family. I have found 23 spellings for the name, so anything is possibly. I believe Johannes Rima started this family in America when he came to this country in 1765 with his wife Catherine and at least 3 children. I am looking for the final piece of my puzzle, the family of Johann Friederick Rima. He had many children: Lorentz, Frederich, Elizabetha, Theobald(David) this is the one I believe is my Great great Grandfather(David Reymore), George, Catherina, Polly, Margaretta. Sophronia and Solomon. My David had two wife's First unknown, but with her he had the following Children: Frederick, David Jr. Polly, Mary, and Abramham that I know of, with his second wife, Eliza he had Monroe, Susan and Frank, My great Grandfather.
The Reymore, Remore, Rima family was living in the Herkimer area during the Rev. war and first part of 1800 started to move around, Johann Frederick moved to Ohio about 1814 to 1819, about 25 to 30 years later He moved his family west again.
