| Researching all descendants of William KROHN. William, a son of Karl and Johanna (KASSEN) was born February 22, 1846 possably in or near Demmin, Germany. He immigrated to the United States in 1866 and settled in Chicago, Illinois. About 1867 he married Caroline PAESEL / PASEL. Following her death in 1892 he married Fredericke SCHWINGENDORF in 1896. William died in 1920 and was followed by Fredericke in 1922. Caroline, a daughter of Johann and Sophia (GRUGER) PAESEL. She was born February 4, 1850 in Mecklenburg, Germany. Second generation surnames include WALTER, HEWLING, CROSS, DONAHUE, KROSS, HARMS, McHENRY, BOLDT, JENSEN, WIEMER, JACKSON. Also researching all descendants of Andrew (Andreas) FINK. Andrew emmigrated from Germany in 1871 and settled in Chicago, Illinois. He was married to Caroline VOSS until his death in 1912. Caroline died in 1924. Second generation surnames of the line include WARD, SCHOKNECT, EICHLER, REILLY, MULLANEY, KRUEGER. I will be happy to share information. |
