I have generations going back as far as (1) Jeremiah Hess, landing in Philadephia, PA in 1729.(2)Balthasar Hess,Jeremiah'sson,married and had a son named (3)Peter,he and Elizabeth Hess had alot of children. One of the sons,named (4)Jeremiah Hess married Elizabeth Henry and they had children. (5)Charles Hess, the 2nd son, of Jeremiah and Elizabeth Henry Hess is my Great Great Great grandfather. Charles and Elizabeth Cunningham Hess had a son named (6)Daniel. Daniel Hess married Sarah Jane Michael and they had (7)John Alfred Hess. John Alfred Hess married Laura Reed and had more children: Claude James, Thomas Clyde, William Clinton, (7) Albert Ray, Delbert Lee and Minnie Myrdle Hess.
