George Wolfe last will
In the name of the Benevolent father of all, I George Wolfe of the County of Sullivan and State of Indiana do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking and Making Void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made. I direct that my body be decently Interred and that my funeral be conducted in a manner corresponding with my Estate and Situation In life and as to such worldly Estate as It has pleased God to Entrust me with, I dispose of the same in the following manner \ Towit I direct, first that all my Just debts and funeral Expenses be paid as soon after my decease as possible out of the first money that shall come Into the hands of my Executor from any portion of my Estate real or personal.
Item first I will and bequeath to my beloved son Calvin Wolfe one Hundred and ten dollars in Cash as his full balance of any Estate both real and personal.
Item second I will and bequeath to my beloved daughter Catharine Woodward seventy five dollars as her full balance of my Estate both real and personal.
Item third I will and bequeath to my beloved daughter Thurza Woodward five dollars all her balance of my Estate real and personal She having heretofore received by the hand of Thomas Wolfe thro me seventy five dollars being part of any Estate.
Item fourth I will and bequeath to my beloved daughter Sarah Woodward five dollars as her balance of any estate both real and personal She having by the hand of Thomas Wolf thro me seventy five dollars being part of any Estate.
Item fifth I will and bequeath to my beloved son thomas Wolf one hundred dollars as his full balance of my Estate both real and personal.
Item sixth I will and bequeath to my beloved son George Wolf the one Hundred Dollars that he received of me by mail about the 22nd of May A.D. 1837, as his full balance of my Estate both real and personal.
Item seventh I will and bequeath to my beloved daughter Rebecca Grahm seventy five dollars as her full balance of my Estate both real and personal.
Item eighth I will and bequeath to my beloved son Levi Woolf the one hundred Dollars which he got of me [p. 128] heretofore It being a part of my Estate as his full balance of my Estate both real and personal.
Item ninth I will and bequeath to My beloved daughter Alitha Pirtle seventy five dollars as her full balance of my Estate both real and personal.
Item tenth I will and bequeath to my beloved sons above mentioned and to my beloved daughters named towit George Thomas & Levi Catharine Rebecca Alitha Thurza & Sarah all the balance of any after the payment of all my debts, and funeral Expenses and after the payment of the before mentioned bequests, severally should there be any thing remaining in the hands of my Executor after the full payment of all claims against my Estate I give said balance to the eight said last mentioned heirs three sons and five daughters each to have an Equal part Thereof to share and share alike
Item eleventh I hereby make an ordain my beloved son Thomas Wolf of Sullivan County Executor of this my last will and Testament In witnefs whereof I George Wolf the Testamentor have sworn to set my hand & seal this 22nd day of April A.D. 1856.

Signed sealed and published and declared by the above named George Wolf as his last will and testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names our names [sic] as witnefses thereto in the presence of the said Testator and in the presence of each other.

Be It known that on this 15th day of March A.D. 1858, Before me the undersigned Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas in and for said County came personally George W Pirtle one of the subscribing withnefses to the foregoing will and being by me duly sworn upon his oath states that he saw George Wolfe the testator of the foregoing will sign seal publish and delcare the foregoing Intrustment of writing to be his last will and testament that at the time of his so doing he was of sound mind memory & understanding and not under coer or restraint and of full age at to divis [p. 129] his property as aforesaid, that he signed his name thereto at his request and in the presence of the other subscribing witnefs

I Joseph W. Wolfe Clerk of the Court of Comon Pleas in and for said County Certify that the within last will of George Wolfe late of said County deceased has been duly admitted to probate that at its due Execution was this day proven by George W. Pirtle whose proof together with such will has been duly recorded on pages 127, 128, & 129, of the record of Wills in My office the 15th day of March 1858. In testimony Whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed the seal of said court at Sullivan the 15th day of March A.D. 1858
