MARTHA BARRON (abt. 1827 - bef. 1900)was the third child of SMITH AND LUCY REEVES BARRON. Martha and Elisha moved from Troup County, GA, to Chattooga County, GA, in late 1847. About the same time Lovica Barron and husband Wiley Gresham Scoggins and James F. Barron and wife Zilla Scoggins (brothers and sisters to Martha and Elisha) moved from Troup to Chattooga. Most of the other members of the Barron family moved to Alabama and later to Texas.
