The Bradley Kuhns Family Home Page

Hello Everyone! I am Bradley William Kuhns. I have been researching family names of Kuhns, and Basits. The Kuhns family history mainly centers in Pennsylvania and the name of Basits (could be spelled incorrectly), comes from Europe around Pecs, Hungary. It appears that when early immigrants arrived on these shores, some of the officials may have spelled family members names incorrectly as they filled out forms for entry into the United States. So, Basits may have been short for something else like "Bosich". My mothers side (Basits) of the family arrived about 1903, in Baltimore, Maryland. They left Europe from Hamburg, Germany.Their roots were in the Austria/Hungry countries of Europe.
