Hi, I am Arlyn Padilla Kunz. I am researching my maternal family (Paez) from Malaga, Spain and my paternal family (Padilla) from Puerto Rico. I have Rafael Paez born in 1894 in Malaga, Spain. Emigrated to Puerto Rico in 1902. He married Isabel Gonzalez Mar 3 1922. His father's name was Jose Paez, married to Aurora Rodriquez in Malaga, Spain. I don't have much info on my paternal family. I only know the name of my grandfather, Trindad Padilla, and that he died at around 51 yrs of age in the early 1950's in NYC. He was married to Josefa Colon who died in her 70's, also in NYC. Unfortunately, both my parents, Edwin and Elia Padilla have died. I have written to my father's sisters, but have not gotten any response. Any help would be appreciated. Such as, where to write to in Malaga, Spain and any tips on trying to pinpoint my grandfather's death. Please e-mail me or write. Thanks |
