The Georges and Wilhoits of Texas

I am researching the David Simeon George family. David Simeon George was born January 1, 1814 in Bedford County, Tennessee. He came to Delta County, Texas in the fall of 1855 with his wife Lucinda L. McGuire (McGuyer).

I am also researching the Raleigh W. Winfrey family. Raleigh was born in Tennessee and moved to Marshall County, Kentucky some time prior to 1845. There he married Margaret A. Bourland. They moved to Delta County, Texas between 1857 and 1860. There he and Margaret died and were buried.

I have a significant amount of material but few proofs. I continue my research and my quest for proofs.
