The online portion of this project was started in the mid-1990s. I recently started working on it again.

My database is mostly intact. I'm working on correcting and cleaning it up. Almost all the electronic document images were lost so, those need to be rescanned and reentered. Also, some family members have "opted out" of it so, I need to remove some information before I make it available to others.

I've updated my contact info - I closed my PO Box in anticipation of leaving Pottsville, PA this Spring or Summer. Give me a call or send me an e-mail for a street address.

Still hoping to make it to Erie, PA or Akron, OH this year. I already have quite a bit of information on the Erharts in Erie; I did find another generation of the Eisengarts in NJ, but I still have next to nothing to go further without physically going to Newark. 'The old neighborhood ain't what it used to be!' Although I still live in PA (for the time being), it's a long trip to Erie in the opposite corner.

AMONG THE INFORMATION I FOUND IN ERIE: Magnus Erhart and his wife Mary emmigrated from Baden, Germany and arrived in the Erie, PA area around 1825. They had two children that I know of: Stephen (b. about 15 Dec 1817) and Wolfgang (b. about 1807). I also have information going back two additional generations but, I'm not fully convinced they're part of my line. If they are, that line goes back to 1685.
