Luan M Kurriger 1737 S 70TH ST WEST ALLIS,WI 53214-4850 414-475-5913 | I am researching the KURRIGER/KURIGER family of Wuertemburg, Germany, specifically the ancestors of ALOYSIUS KURIGER who immigrated to Muscatine, Iowa in 1855.I believe that the family may have come through New Orleans with other families from Wuertemberg, mainly the BROSSART family. These families seemed to have split up and settled in Kentucky, Tennessee and Ohio. I am also researching the following ancestors: William WALLACE born 1830 in Redford, County Donegal, Ireland, the son of Robert WALLACE.His wife, Sarah Jane CANNING, daughter of Charles Hamilton CANNING and Mary DOWLING, born 1833, Malin, COunty Donegal, Ireland. Charles Christian ANDERSON born 1852 in Copenhagen, Denmark to Christine Anderson HANSON.He is believed to have first come to Iowa in the late 1850's then on to Racine, Wisconsin. Cyrus HASKINS and Harriet P. CASE, parents of Lillian Emma HASKINS, born 1856 in Oneida, Knox County, Illinois.HASKINSand CASE were from New York and moved to Ontario, Illinois in 1853. Samuel WINEGAR born 1764 in Armenia, New York. Married to Martha HOSKINS, he served in the Revolutionary War. I would greatly appreciate any information on the above, and will gladlyshare any information that I have. |
