I am researching the family of James J. and Frances Angeline Durning Kuykendall. He was born in Alabama in 1818. Frances (Fannie) was born in Missouri in 1827. Married in Clay Country, MO in 1842, they moved to Smith County, TX about 1853. At that time their children were James, Charles, and William. In the mid 1860s they moved to Henderson County, TX. Children born after James J. and Frances moved to Texas were Mary, Martha, Milton Columbus, Sterling Price, and David Owen. Mary married Jim Parkhill in Hunt County, TX. Possibly, Martha married Joseph Goodson in Hunt County. After the death of James J., Frances Angeline married Harvey Young in Hunt County. David Owen was my grandfather. We have also located descendants of Mary, Milton, and Sterling Price. We have no information on James and Charles. We know that William lived in Oklahoma. |
