| I am researching the surnames of Findley, Harper, Daughtery, Burton, Hawthorne, Dykes, Murphy, Clemmons and Tate. They come from Georgia, Alabama and Florida. I am searching for the parents of William Harris Findley who was borned December 17, 1845 in Monroe County, Alabama. He died March 6, 1917 in Canoe, Alabama and is buried ata Free Will Cemetery. He married Mary Alice Harper in 1871. I am also searching for her parents. She was born August 25, 1850 in Monroe County Alabama. She died April 23, 1924 in Canoe, Alabama and is buried at Free Will Cemetery. I am also searching for the parents of Wesley and William Joseph Daughtery. They are brothers who both married Sarah George Burton. Wesley was born in 1815. He died before 1860. He married Sarah September 20, 1852. William was born in Georgia. He died in 1872 near Monterey, Alabama. He married Sarah in 1861. Sarah was born in 1835 in Georgia. She died in 1872 in Monterey Alabama or Graceville, Florida. I am also searching for the parents of William Bruce Hawthorne born February 14,1882 in Geneva, Alabama. He died January 1961 in Crestview, Florida. He married Mary Elizabeth Dykes. She was born June 1884. She died in 1958. Her parents are James H. Dykes and Martha Ann Perkins. I would appreciate any information that anyone has to share with me. I am willing to share what information I have. |
