John Edgar Kyle (son of Nathaniel Kyle and Agnes Stevenson) was born 1889 in creemore, ontario, and died 1974 in Chilliwack, B.C.. He married Winnifred Grace Murrell, daughter of unknown and not known.

John Edgar Kyle was born in Ontario and at an early age moved with his parents to the West. They lived for several years in North Dakota , and then moved to South Eastern Saskatchewan where they settled in the Weyburn area. Edgar homesteaded west of Weyburn and later moved to Midale. The family later moved to Moose Jaw where the children were raised and went to school. Edgar was a railwayman employed with the Canadian Pacific Railway.
