Notes for Kenneth Harvey Kyle: Ken was born and raised in Moose Jaw, Sask. He was educated there and on graduation from High School Enlisted ihe Royal Canadian Navy. He completed his training at HMCS Naden, Esquimalt,B.C.and was posted to the destroyer HMCS Fraser. At the outbreak of World War Two his ship was assigned to convoy duty in the North Atlantic sailing from Halifax. N.S. His ship was sunk in the Bay of Biscay in June 1940. Ken survived that encounter and after a brief period in the United Kingdom was posted to the destroyer HMCS Margaree. This ship was sunk on its first convoy trip in October 1940. and there were no survivers.
