I am researching the Joynt surname, anywhere and any time period.Specifically, I am interested in the family of David Joynt who was born around 1800 in Gort, County Galway, Ireland and then emigrated to Iowa around 1867.

I am also researching the McNally family who emigrated from Newport, County Mayo, Ireland and also settled in Iowa after living in Wisconsin for a time.

And the other Irish ancestors are Brennans. James Brennan left St. John's Parish, Co. Roscommon, Ireland and then settled in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. He then left Ontario and settled in Iowa
