Taylor - Skeggs and Hodges- Patterson families

I have only done a small amount of research on my family, however I am learning a little about them thanks to a cousin in NZ and the 1881 and 1901 Census records.

I came to the US in 1958 via Cyprus where I met my first husband Charles. I hade six children now all grown with families of their own. I remarried in 1990 in St. Croix USVI.

I only became interested in Genealogy when my second husband started to research his family. Sadly my parents were not very willing to give me much information because of some estrangement with my dad's parents. It has been an uphill slog but slowly I am learning about his family. My mother's family also has many puzzles and false information that led us in the wrong direction. There is still many pieces of the puzzle to be found and hopefully in the coming months with help from this Home Page and the Forums I will continue to find more pieces.
I am willing to share any information I have and would welcome any outside help.
