This book is dedicated to My Father Ellsworth La Coste, and my mother Charlotte Caroline Mc'namara, their unswerving support of this major undertaking has kept me going through the rough times, and thanks to them I was able to finish this project. I also dedicate this work to my brother Donald Joseph La Coste who with his usual interest has proof read many chapters of this work, and has assisted the author in the rough detective work necessary to solve tough problems. I would also like to dedicate this work to my ancestors, all those who went before me, and whose lives have been now reinvigorated, and brought back to life. May I honor them, and keep the family stories accurate and full of hope. I also express my thanks to the family Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, and the many first cousins, and distant cousins who have shared information over the last 23 years with this author. Without their help this work would be less than whole, and many relatives would be left out.
