1. Michiel¹ Miscaer was born Abt. 1623 in Holland, and died Unknown in Gravesend, Long Island, New York.

Notes for Michiel Miscaer:
Very little is known about this man, but we do know that he was first seen in New Amsterdam in 1647, and that he first settled on Manhattan Island. by 1672 he was living in Kings county, Gravesend, Long Island, where he was allotted a plot of land. The name of his wife is not known.

Children of Michiel Miscaer are:

+	2	i.		Johannes² Miscaer, born June 08, 1648 in New York Dutch Reformed church.; died Aft. 1687 in Gravesend, Long Island, New York.
	3	ii.		Adam Miscaer, born Abt. 1657 in New Amsterdam.

Notes for Adam Miscaer:
He moved to Gravesend with his parents, and in 1687 he took the oath of allegiance to the British there. He worked as a wholesaler of Whale oil.
