| The purpose of this history, which includes siblings, cousins and people related by marriage, is to document our family for future generations and to put those individuals into historical perspective. Many occupied important positions in local government, served their country in battle, administered to the spiritual and medical needs of their countrymen and provided other significant contributions in all walks of life. The diversity of their ethnic backgrounds is impressive. During my research, I have uncovered a wealth of fascinating information about the roles our ancestors played in forming our country. The history from the first ship landings in New England to the migration of our ancestors across America has been very interesting reading!
