November 1839 term - Estate of Abraham Messinger, deceased [pp. 176-178]

On 30 December 1834, Samuel SEERIGHT and John MILLER, 2 heirs of Abraham MESSINGER file for administration and say he died last of September 1834 in Marion County, IN. Heirs asked administration be granted to Barnett D. PORTLOCK, of Rush County who files a $500 bond with Samuel SEERIGHT and John MILLER securities. Inventory filed 29 January 1835, appraised by George TILLETTS and Peter CARBERRY. A note was taken on J.H. MESSINGER and Samuel SEERIGHT 17 January 1835. 14 February 1835 administrator approved. 13 February 1836 administrator was cited. 14 August 1838 administrator has left IN, and Letters of Administration "de bonis non" were given to George DILINGER with $300 bond, John H. MESSINGER security. 15 November 1839 account settled.
