Our HOME PAGE is produced with the intent of sharing what we have found and know of our Family, with any to whom it may be a concern and interest.
Our RESEARCH GOAL is aimed at locating information about all of our ANCESTORS and DESCENDENTS, including stories and everyday information of their lives. Statistics are a viable base to put everything into timelines but the stories are what create the lasting "FAMILY LORE".
Data has been gathered from family conversations, interviews, stories and the written notes of "Lizzie" Pittman, Osee Evans, Henery Neff, Paul Green, and Victoria Stevenson represent "Family Kept Records". Research books include "John Cadet LaDuke of Harrison Co. Indiana" by Jackie Tuttle and an in depth search commissioned to Frances Fortune by Diane Powell. To this we are adding information gleaned from Internet sources including Ancestry, Genealogy, and published Family Trees. For all of this we are thankful and wish to share in return. Helen started gathering information much earlier than me (including contributions to the Jackie Tuttle Book) and for this I am VERY THANKFUL.
The Stories and Booklets are held for Family Sharing when specifically requested. Both the data and stories carry the thread of the Westward migration from Atlantic to Pacific dropping off segments of "our family" in almost all States and tells of the participation and contributions in building the Country.. . . Military Service, Pew to Pulpit, Voting to Public Office - labor to Business Ownership and Management. Probably a prototype of "The American Family" and one of which we are priviliged to be a part of.
Correctioins and Amplifications are solicited and we ask one question - - "what may we share with you?"
