Walter W. Swank (son of Edward Swank and Annie) was born August 22, 1907 in Sunbury, PA, and died November 16, 1975 in Dayton, Ohio. He married Lela Cleora Wasser on October 18, 1975 in Fredonia, Pennsylvania, daughter of Alfred LeRoy Wasser and Bertha Grace Beil.

He was a minister of the United Church of Christ for 40 years. Had resided at Greenville, Homestead, and Mexico before going to Dayton.
