There is a Nathaniel Whiting (67 years of age) in Francestown, NH in 1870 census (29 years after death of this Nathaniel - question if the one in the census would be a brother to Stephen). The 1800 US Federal Census lists a Nathaniel Whiting, in Francestown, Hillsborough, NH. I think this is the one that is Stephen's father.
