Earnest "Earnie" Garrett, a minister, pastored churches for several years, then later he was employeed at the Nazarene Publishing House in Kansas City, MO as a proof-reader for their publications. For many years he cared for his wife, Beulah. Following her death he spent many hours continuing his hobby of music and building organs. Later, he was married to Opal Andrews and they were both active in the Senior Citizen Ministries of First Church of the Nazarene in Kansas City, MO.
