LAFFERTY
This family history was abstracted from several written family histories, records and personal conversations from the 1930's on. Some of the Lafferty data was furnished to me by Mrs. Patricia St. John, a half sister in 1992 and Sharon Lafferty Strong in 2006. The remainder came from personal family and public records of the Pennsylvania, Ohio and Kansas City Lafferty's.

McMILLAN
Mrs. Anna Allen Wright's (Ithica, NY) extensive McMillan Family tree from the 1920-1930s was utilized in it's entirety. It begins with Hugh and Christiana McMillan's arrival in the United States about 1775. I am in that line and have extended it to the current date as much as I was able. Other McMillan information was abstracted from Clan McMillan mid 1930's newsletters edited by Reginald Ray Stuart (San Leandron, CA). One of the newsletters connects the McMillan line and a descendant from Cassandra Southwick. This lady was the 1658 heroine of the poem "CASSANDRA SOUTHWICK" written by John Greenleaf Whittier.

HULSE
Mr. Frank Hulse of Pawhuska, OK provided a large part of the Hulse family tree in 1998 from personal research, family histories, conversations and family records.
