This page includes information on the LAGER, DIEBOLT, RAUSCH, and LAUB Families and their descendants as well as Ancestors. I am always searching for relatives of these families and would enjoy hearing from any relative. These families originated respectively in the following areas.

The Lager Family came from the area of Lengerich and Gersten in Emsland in Northwest Germany. The descendants of Johannes Gerardus Lager and his wife Maria Anna Wobben include 2,018 known individuals. Bernard Joseph Lager, son of Johannes and Maria married Agnes Marie Kuhlman. Their son Joseph Bernard Lager married Eliza Catherine Crider. The Crider Family can be traced back to the area of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania where Daniel Crider was born in about 1765. Eliza Catherine Crider is the daughter of John Reed Crider and Lucretia Mariam Terrill.

The Diebolt Family can be traced back to the Bas-Rhin area of Alsace, France. The originator of the family was Michel Diebolt who was born in Hochfelden in about 1695. The known descendants of Joseph Francois Diebolt and his wife Madeline Weber include 1,397 individuals. Joseph and Madeline's son Anton is the great great grandson of Michel. Anton was born just to the west of Hochfelden in another small town named Dettwiller. Anton married Justina Walter. Lawrence Diebolt, the second son of Anton and Justina married Bertha 'Gertrude' Bolz. The Bolz Family originated in the area of Bonn, Germany. Aloysius Henricus Bolz immigrated to the United States and settled in the area of Escambra, Delta, Michigan. There he married Adriana Von Leest (some suggest Von Least). Adriana was from the area of Drunen, Holland. Eventually the family migrated to the area of Sheyboygan, Wisconsin; then onto Kaw Township of Jefferson County, Kansas and the family finally settled near Olpe, Lyon, Kansas. Aloysius and Adriana had eight children, one of who - Alma died as a child.

The Rausch Family originated in the area of Michestadt and Steinbach, Darmstadt, Germany. The earliest known ancestor of this family is Johan Peter Rausch. He married Elizabeth Bertsch. They had a son Adam Johan Rausch who married Margarethe Brunner. Adam migrated to the United States and settled in the area of Dayton, Montgomery, Ohio. The known descendants of Adam and Margarethe include 163 known individuals.

The Laub Family originated in the area of Erfenbach and Kaiserlauter, in the Rhine-Phalz area of southwest Germany. Jacob Laub married Karolina Hahn. Their son Valentine Laub migrated to the United States where he married Margaret Kramer. They raised their family in the vincinity of Dayton, Ohio. The descendants of Jacob and Karolina include 121 known individuals.
