BARTLETT November 16, 1881 in Simpson Baptist Church, near Grafton, WV, daughter of JAMES BARTLETT and SALLIE ?. She was born 1854, and died October 1940.

William and Mollie were married on May 5, 1878. Mollie died in childbirth. William and Samantha were married November 16, 1881. They were married by Rev. George Bailey, a Baptist minister of the Simpson Baptist Church. Samantha was the daughter of James H. Bartlett. She was also a sister of Mollie Bartlett Lake, wife of Minor V. Lake.

(ELMIRA) BARTLETT October 28, 1880 in Taylor County, WV, daughter of JAMES BARTLETT and SALLIE ?. She was born April 01, 1860, and died August 11, 1939.

Notes for MINOR VINCENT LAKE:
Mollie was the daughter of James H. and Sallie Bartlett. She was a sister of Samantha, William Frederick Lake's wife. They also had a brother, Homer Bartlett. Minor Lake died in Grafton Hospital, Grafton, West Virginia after a fall on the frozen ground at his brother's (Thomas) home at Simpson.

Minor and Mollie were married October 28, 1880.

MOLLIE M. LAKE

I, Mollie M. Lake, of the town of Bridgeport, West Virginia, being of sound mind and of disposing memory do make this my last will and testament.

1. I direct my just debts and funeral expenses be paid promptly, also a grave marker provided.

2. I give and bequeath all of my real and personal property wherever situated, to my husband Minor V. Lake, his natural lifetime so long as he remains my widower.

3. At the death of my husband, Minor V. Lake, my said real and personal property to be divided equally between Dorsey J. Lake and Montie Lake Barnum and their heirs, after giving to Carleton and Bernedine Lake, my two grandchildren, the sum of fifty ($50) dollars each.

4. I hereby constitute and appoint Dorsey J. Lake as executor and Montie Lake Barnum as executrix of my will and direct that they both serve without bond.

Signed and sealed by me this 4th day of September, 1936.
