WILL OF SARAH CARTER JENNINGS--WIDOW OF THOMAS JENNINGS

Sarah jennings, Louisa County, Virginia, made and signed her WILL, Octorber 13, 1827. The will was probated March 10, 1828, nameing the following:
1. Elizabeth Cornelius, my daughter, two Bonds of James and Ann Randolph, one for $80.00 one for $203.05, executed to me as Executrix of my husband's Est.; also two feather beds and furniture, one chest of drawers, Press, one cow and calf, one half of my Piggins, Pails, Tubs, earthen ware, four large silver table spoons, one of them considerable worn, and all wearing apparel.
2. I will to my son, John Jennings, one Bond of William Southworth w...Charles C. Jennings Security for $33.85. Also a Bond due me from my s...Charles C. Jennings for $151.68. William Southworth's Bond was executed ... me as Extx. of my husband;s Estate. Charles C. Jennings for rent and hire...negroes. Also one feather bed and furniture, one half of my table and kitchen furniture, one half of my Piggins, Pails, Tubs, Jugs and earthen Ware, two cows, one Walnut Chest, two Walnut Tables; also the Trundle bed and furniture, three large Silver Table Spoons.
3. I will to my son, Charles C. Jennings, my large Family Bible and wooden sugar dish trimmed with silver with the initials of my late husbands name on it.
4. To my grand-daughter, Sarah Cornelius, one Sealskin Trunk.
5. To my grand-daughter, Sally Carter Jennings, one half dozen silver teaspoons with the initials of my late husband's name on them; also a blue sugar bowl.
6. To my grand-daughter, Elizabeth Ann Jennings, one half dozen silver teaspoons.
7. To my grandson, Robert Thompson Jennings, a trundle bed.
The rest of my estate, after payment of debts, I give to be equally divided between my daughter Elizabeth Cornelius and my son, John Jennings.
