My father always said that his father, had passed away due to hardening of the arteries as a result of exposure to chemicals at the brass foundry where he worked.(Tom Lally)
"Uncle Tom Lally was not someone I knew. I think He was dead before I was born. My Mother (Florence Fay Murphy) said that he worked in the brass foundry and died from inhaling too much of the brass."Mary Crowley
