Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

This is the begining of a new family home page. I will be adding family trees for each of our main surnames. Here is just a sample of some of the names that we are intersested in - BERG, KOCH/COOK, HEINZKE, MATETZSCHK, WEISER, WAISER, KAASE, KOSIK, WEGHORST, AERNI, SCHMIDT, LAMBDIN, CONNATSER/CONATSER, MOORE, PAYNE, WILSON, WARWICK, ABKE, FELDMANN, WISSMANN, AND MANY MORE will be added as we find out more about our families. I am not sure how much of the information I have collected is correct so please let me know if you find any errors. I will also tell you about special events that are coming.

The LAMBDIN'S, WARWICK'S, CONNATSER/CONATSER'S, MOORE'S, PAYNE'S and WILSON'S settled in Tennessee and the surounding states. The Lambdin's have been in this country since 1638. Great research has been done on this family as 2 books were published.

The other surnames are from Germany, the families moved to the United States in about 1880. Some come before that date and some come after. They settled in Texas mainly in the counties of Austin, Lee, Williamson, and Grimes.
