The Craig N. Lamberts of Connecticut

Updated September 6, 2000

***
My father's grandfather, Samuel Cohen, was in the textile business in NYC in the first decade of the 1900s. He changed his name, and all his sons' names, to Lambert when he moved to Texas in the 'teens.

I'm trying to find out the origin of his choice of "Lambert" as his new family name.
