Other areas the family settled in are: Glen Ellyn, IL; Wheaton, IL, (and other western suburbs of Chicago) & Belgrade, MN.

My mothers family, Pillsbury, immigrated from England in 1640 and settled in Amesbury, Mass. My 5th great grandfather, Joshua Pillsbury, was a commander on schooner during the Revolutionary War.
Prior to his commission he was a Minuteman.

Wilhelm Lammers became a US citizen in October of 1888. He took his oath in Kossuth, IA at the age of 21. This picture was taken close to that time.

This is the Krumwiede home in Bloomingdale, IL. Note that Roselle Road is dirt. This was the first stop for all of the Christian Lammers,(Sophia's father) family coming from Rodewald.
