| I have been researching the Thomas family tree for approximately 20 years. My father's name was Porter Lee Thomas and he and his family are from Knoxville, TN. Although I have quite a bit of information I am stuck on my grandmother's side. Her name was Hattie Henshaw (Thomas) daughter of Edward Henshaw and Marthie Pemberton. My father told me that one of his relatives was from the Cherokee reservation, but I am having a hard time finding the connections. If anyone can help me or is a part of this family I would greatly appreciate it if you would contact me. Also, my father died in Ohio, I was not notified, and his care taker was Stephanie Beal, his Great Niece. If anyone knows anything about this information or how to reach Stephanie I would appreciate it. |
