Frank Mackenzie Lamb Family Home Page

My earliest starting point has been pinpointed to John Robert Lamb b: abt 1805 d: about 1887 near Glascow, Scotland. His was a grain merchant and a member of German Consul there. For his services to Germany, he received the Order of the Black Eagle. This attempts to verify this information have been made through the assistance of the German Consulate in New York City 2/6/98.
His second eldest son was Alfred Smith Lamb (Sr.) b: 1854 and d: 1920 who married Elizabeth Livingstone (Dr. Livingstone) in 1887. He was a missionary in Algeria from about 1884 onwards. They had 14 children, some who did not survive their second year. One who did was Alfred Smith Lamb, Jr.

His son Alfred Smith Lamb (Jr.) is my grandfather and was born in at Partick near Glascow, Scotland in 1881 and died in Bournemouth, England in 1967. His son Ivan, born September 1911 in London and died January 1990 in Braintree, MA USA. His son Frank, b: 1948 Buenos Argentina and residing in Natick, MA USA is the author of this web page.
